Kidney Puncher rectangle wire has been milled to consistent width the spool, it's not simply flattened round wire, which can get inconsistent edges and density. Kidney Puncher comes off the spool smooth and straight, every time. No twists, no kinks.

Rectangle wire is a happy balance between the surface area of ribbon wire, and the resistance and ease of building of round wire. Be warned though - the 0.9x0.3 is very springy! We recommend either wrapping your coils with the assistance of pliers or a vice, or torching your length of wire first to make it more malleable.

0.9mm x 0.3mm Ni80 has similar resistance to 23 ga Ni80, or about 4 ohms per meter.

0.4mm x 0.4mm Ni80 has similar resistance to 25 ga Ni80, or about 6.8 ohms per meter.
